Capitol Singapore is home to three conservation buildings: Stamford House (built in 1904), Capitol Building and the iconic Capitol Theatre, one of Singapore’s premier cinemas in the 1950s and 60s. Learn about their past and restoration, each with its own unique architectural style.

Unearth key moments in the history of CHIJMES, harking back to its origins in 1854 as Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ), a Catholic school for girls. Delve into the rich history and architecture of its two National Monuments -- CHIJMES Hall and Caldwell House.
