The story of Singapore’s development can be told through our buildings. Our Built Heritage conservation programme is an on-going process of careful and balanced planning and has resulted in the protection of key landmarks from the Modern era (1930s-1970s), which records a period of great change and of our efforts to build a new nation. With the support of the Singapore Heritage Society, URA presents this exhibition to celebrate and raise awareness of these conserved icons of our city and nation.
